Mark Eddy

Leadership Southern Indiana

A West Virginia native, Mark Eddy has journeyed through Tennessee, Canada, Indiana and Kentucky, developing many professional and leadership accomplishments in nonprofit organizations.  After serving as Director of Special Initiatives with the YMCA of Greater Louisville, Mark moved to a new position at Leadership Southern Indiana in August 2010 as their first full-time Executive Director.  In March 2019 his role changed to President/CEO to align with the community engagement and growth of the organization.
In his nine years at Leadership Southern Indiana, Mark has transformed the organization from a one-stop program shop to an organization serving all generations of professionals-in-development and diversifying funds to accommodate the growing organization.  The organization has added two new programs in addition to its signature program DISCOVER and three additional employees while increasing funding by 300%.
Mark is also dedicated to community service, as he serves on the boards of Floyd Memorial Foundation, Centra Credit Union Supervisory Committee, Align SI Operating Board, Metro United Way and serves on 1SI Advocacy Committee and SI Mentoring Partnership Committee.  He has served as chair of the Southern Indiana Advisory Council of MUW (2018-19) and served as Board President on the Indiana Leadership Association (2017-18).
Mark and his wife, Jan, have four adult sons and one grandson.  He is active in his church and also spends his time mentoring youth in sports and values time with family.

Beth Reedy

Events/Marketing Coordinator

Beth was born and raised, an only child, in beautiful Salem, Ohio. She graduated with degrees in English from Ohio Dominican University and The University of Akron, getting her Master's degree as a full time student with a young family. As a grad student at UAkron, she worked in the Career Services Department and there developed an interest in Career Advising and Human Resources. After graduation, her family moved many times - all around the Great Lakes - from Massillon and Dayton, Ohio to Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids, Michigan to Indianapolis and, finally, to Jeffersonville, Indiana. That didn't leave a lot of time for professional growth, so learning about and being involved in new communities became a passion for Beth and her family. They learned a great deal from the hidden treasures of their new communities. And spent lots of time camping or driving Bill's 'cool cars' in the summers. Together they gave their energy to Gilda's Club, Grand Rapids; Ronald McDonald House, Girls Scouts of America, Scouts BSA and to their faith communities. Beth recently learned the world of communications and event planning working at Catholic churches in Brownsburg and Jeffersonville. She currently serves on the board at Catalyst Catholic. Lifelong learning is a hallmark of Beth's life especially reading, studying with her woman's group, planning for and traveling the globe. Beth's family includes husband Bill, their adult children Jackie & John, and her Mom Pat who moved to Southern Indiana to live closeby in 2019.
