The reality of firearm violence, or the potential for firearm violence, is an aspect of life we all face. Increasing suicidality and/or homicidality impacts all socioeconomic and demographic sectors of the community. Indiana’s suicide rates are climbing and exceed national averages. 58% of completed suicides in Indiana involve the use of a firearm. This breakfast series will discuss how leaders can take steps to protect their families, businesses, and communities.

• Tish Frederick, youth or family specialist, will discuss how to instill a culture of resiliency in families, children, community
• Lindsay Potts, LCSW, social worker will discuss how to access care and emergency detention orders
