Class Giving Day

Class Giving Days: Fundraising event where donations raised based on restaurant % donation where a portion back to LSI for scholarships and remaining amount collected from each Class Giving Day then to be given to one non-profit announced at the LSI Annual meeting. On January 31, 2024, from 5:30 - 8:00 pm, Hunter Station Pizza will be donating 20% of the proceeds made from alumni purchases to LSI. A portion of the 20% will go towards LSI scholarships, while the remaining amount will be given to another non-profit organization. Come join us!

DATE AND TIME Tue, March 05, 2024 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM EST LOCATION IU Southeast Hoosier Room   The reality of firearm violence, or the potential for firearm violence, is an aspect of life we all face. Increasing suicidality and/or homicidality impacts all socioeconomic and demographic sectors of the community. Indiana's suicide rates are climbing and exceed national averages. 58% of completed suicides in Indiana involve the use of a firearm. This breakfast series will discuss how leaders can take steps to protect their families, businesses, and communities. Panel • Maj. Joshua Lynch, Jeffersonville Police Department, will discuss workplace violence mitigation, signs and indicators, etc. • Jeremy Mull, JD, Clark County Prosecuting Attorney, will discuss red flag laws • Tish Frederick, youth or family specialist, will discuss how to instill a culture of resiliency in families, children, community • Lindsay Potts, LCSW, social worker will discuss how to access care and emergency detention orders Sponsored by Axiom Financial Strategies Group
